Heterocyclic compounds were the major class of organic compounds. These were enormously essential with wide range of synthetic, pharmaceutical and industrial applications and are famous for their biological activities. There is an extensive spectrum of biological activities shown by many compounds containing five membered heterocyclic rings in their structure. These heterocyclic compounds have broadened scope in remedying various dispositions in clinical medicines. Thiazoles have been reported to show pharmacological activities. This work aims to review the work reported, their chemistry and biological activities of thiazole during past years such as antitubercular, amoebicidal agents, fungicides, antimicrobial, antiinceticide, anticancer, antifungal, hypnotic agent, etc. There are number drugs containing thiazole ring such as -Cefdinir (antibacterial drug, semisynthetic third generation cephalosporin drug), flucloxacillin (androgenic steroid danazol), Pramipexole (The dopamine D2-agonist), Sulfathiazol (antimicrobial drug), Ritonavir (The HIV-1 protease inhibitor, antiretroviral drug), Famotidine (H2-receptor antagonist), etc. Total Citations - European Journal of Chemistry European Journal of Chemistry Popular Articles 14-Diazabicyclo[222]octane (DABCO) as a useful catalyst in organic synthesis Dissecting fibrosis: therapeutic insights from the small In this Review we describe the common features and pathobiology that lead to excessive scarring of diverse organs and introduce the concept of a 'fibrosis toolbox New Substructure Filters for Removal of Pan Assay New Substructure Filters for Removal of Pan Assay Interference Compounds (PAINS) from Screening Libraries and for Their Exclusion in Bioassays Poster Abstracts: Drug Metabolism Reviews: Vol 47 No sup1 (2015) Poster Abstracts Drug Metabolism Reviews: Vol 47 Abstracts from the 19th North American ISSX and 29th JSSX Meeting pp 41-297 doi: 103109/036025322015
